The Club is extending the course to 18 Holes. This is being done by contractors who are transferring inert waste from regional council transfer stations.
This project is monitored by the Environmental Protection Authority to ensure that no contamination is imported. The Club sees this as a way of helping the local community achieve a competitive 18 hole Golf course whilst also contributing to recycling. We also believe it will add a further tourist attraction to the region.
Currently the course is a 9 Hole course with 18 tees played over a distance of 5128 metres for men and 4880 for women. There are two par 5′s, twelve par 4′s and four par 3′s. The course is set in an undulating bushland setting with well maintained fairways and greens. The course’s difficulty level provides a stimulating challenge to golfers of any ability. A feature is the 11th which is 389 metres par four with a water feature immediately before the green.
